Located Deep in the Salmon River Canyon. Riggins is Idaho's Whitewater Capitol. This small adventure town has lots of opportunities for fun year round. It is located near two national forests, the Payette and Nez Perce, also the Seven Devils Wilderness, the Gospel Hump Wilderness, the Selway wild and scenic river, and the Frank Church Wilderness are all in close proximity. From Riggins, your trip could include camping, hiking, horseback riding, steelhead fishing, or hunting.
